Welcome to the USS Equitas

Equitas est fundamentum iustitiae
Equity is the foundation of justice.
The year is 2390.
The galaxy trembles in the shadow of catastrophe. Two years ago, the Romulan star ignited in a cataclysmic supernova, scattering empires and shattering the balance of power across the Alpha and Beta quadrants. The great superpowers have crumbled, their fleets broken, their voices silenced.
Starfleet, scarred by betrayal and the destruction of Mars shipyards, struggles to rise from the ashes of its darkest hour. Synthetic research remains forbidden, a wound that refuses to heal, and the Federation teeters between hope and despair.
But from the silence of the shipyards, a new vessel emerges. The USS Equitas—freshly forged and gleaming with promise—now sails under the command of Commander Zaiden Isaac, a leader untested yet resolute. His mission is not conquest, but compassion: to bring aid to the forgotten, to weave bonds of culture and understanding, and to reclaim the wonder of exploration among the stars.
The journey begins.
And history will remember those who dare to join it.

We love welcoming fellow storytellers who are excited to let their characters grow and explore new adventures. Mission: The Last Space Station on the Left

::ON::
It has started as less than a great day. Being sent out with the Chief Intelligence Office to pick up a probe was one thing…encountering a subspace disturbance that had sent them into the gravitational field of a planet? Even less great. No power except emergency thrusters had made the crash inevitable.
The shuttle had come down badly, although considering what the last few minutes of the flight had looked like, Lt. Dario Munro supposed they could both be grateful it had come down at all rather than simply becoming another piece of debris somewhere in the upper atmosphere.…

It was a wonder to T'Maas that starships could house such beautiful arboretums. The science involved, the precise calibration of environmental pockets to produce diverse forestscapes in such a small area seemed like a miracle to her. Intellectually, she knew it was science and that it was a product of twenty-fourth century mastery of the technical details of keeping these plants alive, but she was always amazed.
She stood at the edge of the path, Starfleet-issue boots just touching the loamy soil. The new-pattern uniforms were adept at wicking away body-moisture and heat, and though she was in the…

Well. This sucked.
It was supposed to be routine system checks in the deck 6 science labs. Testing out the containment fields was part of those checks. What was not part of those checks was Eva losing access to the controls due to said containment fields. A triple check confirmed that that particular field emitter shouldn't have activated. The console even confirmed it, yet here she was. She stared at the console, just on the other side of the faint blue hue, before groaning in exhasperation. Eva tried verbal commands, but everything was tied to the console. Even when she…

Mission: The Last Space Station on the Left

[Earth Spacedock - Present day]
Commander Zaiden Isaac - the newest starship captain within Starfleet.
It wasn’t an uncommon goal for a Starfleet officer to want to become captain of their own ship one day, and Zaiden wasn’t a special case for it. Indeed, he had tailored his career around that exact goal - starting in Engineering and working his way through the ranks, through the positions before eventually getting to Second Officer before Executive Officer on his previous posting, the USS Sparrow. And now, thanks to those who believed in him, he was the Commanding Officer.
Standing in the…

Mission: The Last Space Station on the Left

After getting settled into quarters, Eva allowed herself to be nosey and wander. Apparently she was the first department head aboard, so there weren't many people to meet aside from the skeleton crew and the command team. For a ship with few officers aboard, the CO and XO were surprisingly difficult to locate. Eva could have used the ship computer, but where was the fun in that?
Her wandering eventually placed Eva on the bridge. The turbolift door slid open and she stepped out, absorbing the layout and recognising that she was the only one here. "I don't think I've…
