The Last Space Station on the Left

The USS Equitas is newly commissioned and testing out her Quantum Slipstream Drive near the Romulan border around Starbase 125, a remote area of space in a pocket with no stars for a great distance around.

The crew receive an emergency request for essential supplies needed to keep a remote Romulan space station functioning, so the crew is dispatched at top speed, giving little time to calibrate and test out any systems that remain untested and uncalibrated.

Arriving at the station, the crew of the Equitas discover that the space station is deserted but somehow still broadcasting a signal...
